A warm welcome to Cambridge Park Academy from myself, our governors and our staff team!
I am incredibly proud to be the Principal here at CPA and It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to our website - we hope it gives you a taste of what Cambridge Park Academy represents and a sense of the shared pride we have in our school.
Our learners are at the heart of our school. Everything that we do is about ensuring that their school experience helps them develop both educationally and socially in a fun, engaging, caring and supportive environment. When learners leave Cambridge Park, we aim for them to have a range of educational, independence and self-help skills which will support them in progressing to the next stage of their lives.

CPA recently hosted the inclusive inter school Boccia event. Our very own sports leaders group officiated the fixtures, as 18 teams from various local schools took part in 3v3 Boccia games throughout the morning. Pupils were set game values challenges to earn stickers and celebrate success. Well done to the 4 teams representing CPA and the sports leaders for all your efforts!!
Today, Kite Class attended their first of 6 Farm visits. During the next 6 weeks, Kite Class will work with Farmer Jamie to learn about what it takes to keep a farm running, how to look after the different types of animals and things to look it for to ensure the animal welfare standards are being met. Today, Kite Class met the animals, collected and tested the quality of eggs, tested the quality of the soil and began to look at the 5 Animal Welfare Needs for each of the animals. Pupils enjoyed their visit and got stuck into all of the jobs! We can't wait for next week!

Some of our Year 11 and Post 16 pupils had the chance to go and explore the different roles and companies of our local fishing industry. They had the chance to learn more about Grimsby's history of fishing heritage, the history around the companies and talk to employees about their careers. Pupils throughly enjoyed their visit and have said they would love to work in the industry. They asked lots of excellent questions and were enthusiastic throughout the morning. A huge thank you to all of the companies who hosted such an informative day and to Jo Woodhouse, at Made Great in Grimsby, for organising such a brilliant morning. #madegreatingrimsby
